Goodtalk

Morning Meeting Questions

Young kids love to talk when the question is simple and a little bit silly. These cards are short enough for the teacher to read aloud and safe for every child in the room. Most are playful, and a few help the class talk about friendship, recess and treating each other well.

Good for: Teachers of kids ages 6 to 9 who want a calm start to the day or a good circle time.

Tips for playing

  • Read the card aloud and let a few kids answer, not the whole class every time.
  • It's always fine to pass.
  • Save the friendship cards for a day when the class has time to talk.
